Fayose added,
“They can’t try that
nonsense in my state. If they try it, there will be a showdown. They are
over-stepping their boundary. This is a country that operates a constitution.
What kind of molestation is this, taking away the rights of Nigerians because
you are investigating?”
Are you serious Mr. Fayose? What kind of rights are you
talking about? The right to steal, destroy and kill? Show some love sir to the masses please. Fight the true fight.
Governor Wike added:
“It doesn’t matter
what it will cost. When you talk about liberty, sacrifices must be made. We are
not trying to stop an arrest. All we are saying is that things must be done
decently and in line with the rule of law. Rivers State is under siege. For you
to see a governor out at this time of the day, something is wrong. A siege is
an understatement. If this type of thing happens next time, the people will
resist it to the last”.
Things must be done decently and in line with the rule of
law?? How many (poor) people have you stood for and also prevented their
unlawful arrest Mr. Wike? Why must it be
a judge that if truly he is innocent, can save himself?
I wish the citizens of this great country wisdom and
understanding to see things the right way.
